This is not a problem about hardware and about XP. I got this problem with Win2k with all kind of hardware.

When you installed notes, it asks you if you want to copy your notes id to the data directory. It seems that NTASKLDR.exe is looking for your ID in your data directory. Once I copied and synchronised my password with the one on my data directory, everythings works fine for me.
